Hello! We’re a husband and wife woodworking team living in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Little Spoon Design Company is proof that New Year’s resolutions can work. In December 2015, Laura resolved to find a hobby that we could share, something productive that tapped into her love of crafts and my love of building things. After many nights and weekends at our community woodshop we’ve decided to build our own shop and take our love for woodworking to the next level. We founded Little Spoon Design Co., LLC in January 2018 and haven’t looked back since.
When so much of modern furniture is mass-produced, it’s nice to return to a time when manufactured actually meant “made by hand” (from Latin: manu factus, literally, made by hand)! We design everything ourselves and create each piece one at a time, by hand. We hope that you have fun looking at what we have to offer and that you feel the love that we put into each and every one our products.
